What do we need to own/bring?

• All climbing safety equipment is supplied by The Climbing Company, however if you own any of the following equipment please bring it along with you – learning with your own equipment is far better and will provide a great start to your Arapiles climbing experience!
• Helmet *
• Harness
• Locking carabiners
• Belay device
• Rock climbing shoes
• Personal anchor system (PAS) or sling
• Helmets are worn on all outdoor Climbing Company courses – but as with all of the other climbing safety equipment, we have these if you don't own one.

Non-climbing equipment: You will need to bring suitable clothing and footwear for hiking between climbing areas, and your own lunch and water for the day (and a camera to capture your Arapiles experience!).

I have never climbed outdoors before. Is this tour suitable for me?

Yes it is! While Dyurrite/Mt Arapiles is world-famous for its challenging routes, we have access to excellent beginner-friendly climbs perfect for first-time outdoor climbers. We can tailor the experience to your abilities no matter your fitness or experience level, ensuring you get the most out of your day at this iconic climbing destination.

Is transport included?

No we meet at the kitchenette and proceed to the rock climbing area from there.
