Your Family Adventure Awaits
Join us for a 40-minute walk through the bushland of Werribee Gorge State Park, that's the perfect warm-up for the climbing ahead. Along the way, your guide will point out the local flora, fauna and geology that make this spot worth the trip.
At Falcon's Lookout, you'll get sweeping views over the gorge before the climbing starts. Our ACIA-qualified guides set up beginner-friendly climbs, with routes suited to a range of ages and comfort levels.
How It Works
Parents/Guardians book together with their child, and belay them throughout the session under guide supervision. It's a shared experience: you're not just watching from the sidelines, you're part of the climb.
All children must have an accompanying parent/guardian for the duration of the day.
Booking Instructions
Please register each child that's going to be climbing on the day. Bringing a couple of kids? Book one, then when you finish, you'll see the option to "Register another person." Select that and the form will fill itself in for the next person, you'll just need to add their name.
Want to bring more than 2x climbing kids with you? Please contact us to ensure we can setup appropriate belaying partners.
Have extras who don't want to climb? Please add them in the "Bringing Extras" section so we know a total head count for the day.
What Makes This Special
Guided, Not Just Supervised: Our guides handle route setup and safety systems, and are there throughout to teach, coach and encourage. No experience needed, many families are climbing outdoors for the first time.
Built for Families: The parent-and-child belay setup means everyone's genuinely involved, not just spectating. It's a great way to spend a day together. Older teenagers may belay each other under our guides supervision.
Real Terrain, Real Learning: The approach walk and the setting at Werribee Gorge give plenty of opportunity for kids to ask questions about the landscape along the way.
